kept frying the leads? speaker wire?

If that's what you are talking about, then there are some major issues with the amp.

Ok, well there are a few reasons as to why that could have happened, however in order to diagnose this issue more info is needed.

Specifically, what wire(s) were "fried?" I get from your last post that it could be the power cable that goes from the battery to the amp, is that correct?

Hmm, well I am not too familiar with audiobahn subs, but generally you will gain a little more output from a ported box, so to maximize your volume yes.

But the key here is whether of not YOUR subs will work in a ported box, so either contact customer support or visit their website and see if there is any info. Generally they will list  the vloume requirements for the sub and whether or not it will work ported, but my guess is yes

they  are supposed to be ported but i dont kno how big to make my port i have a 54x9x4.5x18 a pentagonal box with 2 subs and a divider in the middle

Again, you must find out through Audiobahn about the size requirements and port sizing. More than likely your current box will be too small for a conversion to a ported box. So a new one must be built or bought.

What may I ask, are you wanting out of your current setup? More volume?

ok, the time and money put forth for a new enlosure may equate to a whole system revamp, new subs, new amp, and the proper enclosure.

I don't want to knock your gear or put you down for buying it but, audiobahn and pyle don't really perform as well as they look. Stick with what you have and save some money for some good perfroming gear in the future.

I am sure you read the post below labeled "pyle"
