lately i have been looking into getting a component system for my car, and recently have decided to go for a 3 way set up. i been searching the web and came across a few systems that interested me. my price range is around $300. One system i came across is from a company called DLS, and the model is dls r36. I have never heard of this company before and was wanting to get some imput from them about u guys. https://www.infinitecaraudio.com/cgi-bin/icastore.cgi?user_action=detail&catalogno=DLSR36 https://www.dls.se/pdf/manualr36.pdf i have also looked at the jl audio 3 way component set. i have read some good reviews, but im also looking at others. a third set i am looking at, and considering the most is the image dynamics cxs64 https://www.speedsound.com/caraudio.asp?pg=products&specific=jmnnepgne one thing i like about the image dynamics, compared to the other is the rms wattage, i am going to be using a orion xteme 800.4 with the components and my rear 6by9s. i wouldnt be pushing the image dynamics as hard as i would the jl audio and dls components. i was also comparing specs such as frequencies. the jl's and the image dynamics are very close, and the the dls speakers frequency range is lower, along with the sensitivity. please give some imput and ideas ------------- would u like your chicken original or extra crispy?

I don't know of any 3-way component sets I'd recommend that aren't in the $1000 range. Like the Dynaudio's or Boston Acoustics. I haven't heard the JL 3-way components, but they're probably close to the others. I haven't heard the others you mentioned. Still, though, don't buy anything until you've heard them. If $300 is your range, I'd stick with 2-way component sets, with a small subwoofer setup to handle the lower end. I suggest looking into the Boston SL60's. They're an entry level component set, but still sound pretty good. ------------- My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

maybe i will take a 2 way system into consideration. i have been lookin at a couple. some i came across are the focal polyglass and cdt components here are some links https://cgi.ebay.com/CDT-Audio-EF-61-6-1-2-Euro-Frame-Component-System_W0QQitemZ5795001734QQcategoryZ32819QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem https://cgi.ebay.com/Focal-Polyglass-165V2-6-5-Component-Speakers-165-V2_W0QQitemZ5795200398QQcategoryZ32819QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem im leaning a little torwards the cdt, because of the warranty and rms wattage, since the amp i have will be pushing 100watt rms per channel. i also hear the diamond hex speakers are good as well i like to hear some imput ------------- would u like your chicken original or extra crispy?

i was looking at the focal polyglass speakers and seen the wattage is 75watt rms 150max and on the slim line 60 watt rms 120max. the amp i am using will be putting 100watt rms to each , will that be too much, should i look for a set that can handle more power.

I run a set of Hex componants and I have been quite pleased with them. I'd recommend the silk tweeter over aluminum though if you go that route.
