I have an 05 Maxima with the bose system no navigation. I bought a Pioneer dvd player with the wiring harness. I made all the connections how they go and was able to connect eerything, but i get no sound out of my speakers. I did notice that there were two wire connections not in use that connect to my stock unit and was not able to figure out if these two go connectd with my new dvd player. Can someone plz help figure the problem out.

bose system has a separate amplifier at each speaker location; speakers have to be replaced and rewired directly from headunit for aftermarket headunit to function properly.

I think what you are missing is powering up the factory amp in order to get sound.
