Ok I think I'm going to get around to getting the Adire Extremis 6.8's and such. My concern before obtaining them is a location to place them. I'd do a kick panel with some protective grill(I don't need any stupid damage) but I have issues with the available space on the floor. Now I was wondering, do I need to run 2 of them in a stereo setup or could I approach is like a sub and use one? Going for interior SQ over anything, and if I could just use one to achieve a similar effect it would be cheaper and I can put it in place of the wasted center console area. Just would like to know. I wanna start planning this out. Also, I am not sure how to go about purchasing this. I'm wanting to get from a dealer, but I think the closest was freaking Indiana(who the hell does business in Indiana? :/) and I don't wanna make that drive often. If I do have to travel something like that I'll be looking at the Tumult subs and I was wondering if those are out or not. Any insight on the things above is appreciated. Not sure on the amp I'm getting yet.

Ok, a local dealer would be in Troy OH, like an hour away. *sigh* Problem now is they don't keep stock or demos, so I still can't hear this XBL^2 tech I keep hearing about. I mean yeah, I can order it now, yippee. But dammit, I don't wanna be driving far as hell to find a place to hear it. :/

BTW, Stephen, you guys should consider someone in the Cincy/Dayton area, or even Columbus that does demos.

Midbass is more in the range of frequencies susceptible to localization- you can hear where it's coming from.  So ideally you want them placed close to the other speakers, also meaning that you'd want 2 of them.  I'm afraid if you put one in the center it wouldn't sound good to you.
