I have checked 3 different sites including the mfg's site to try and find the rms of this amp bridged at 4 ohms and have gotten 3 differnt figures 150-250 rms.  Phoenix gold r2: 52

does anyone know what the correct figure is?  I hope its not 150 watt rms.

Yes, it is 150 watts and it cannot be bridged into any lower impedence load.  HERE's the manual.

Damn is that phoenix gold 150 rms going to be enough to power a 400 watt sub and get decent bass?  I looked at the mfg site and saw 250 rms and thought that was rms.

I believe that'd be a matter of opinion... For me, probably not. For some, possibly plenty. :)

Not really looking to shake the car.  Just looking for some good bang from the rear.  It will be going  in a jeep liberty open cargo area.

Ok need some advice quick.  Worried this phoenix gold 150 rms is to small to power the sub I'm getting.  Which is better

Ma589I or the phoenix gold r2 52 or rockford fosgate 201S  running at 4 ohm bridged 400 watt rms sub
