I just sold my 2 8" subs and MTX251D amp. I'm putting in a Phoenix Gold 500.1 and either an MTX 7500 12" or a Kicker CVR12. Either one will be in a vented enclosure. Any input on this?

Also where would be a good place to but a 1 Farad capacitor? Ebay?

go to your local kicker dealer, or an autohrized online kicker dealer. get the comp vr, so you don't have to deal with being dissappointed. then, live happily ever after.

also, instead of buying a cap, use the money to have your alternator rebuilt, or buy a better  battery.  larger diods and better than factory alternator guts are used in rebuilds, so you get a better preforming alternator,  usually for around $65. less than a cap, and it works better.

Thanks. I have decided to scrap the idea of the comp vr or the MTX. I am looking at 1 S12L5, last years model.
