I am planning on putting two 12" Audiobahn Immortal subwoofers in my car and am wondering if the reccomended 4 cu ft per is what i should be using for them (so 8 altogether) also they are rated at 2000w rms and i have a 1200w rms amp so 600w per -- would that be alright or would i want to get a new and more powerful amp?

Yes, go with the recommendation of 4 ft. per sub...and 600watts per would be more than sufficient to drive them at their fullest. You know, I'm sure, to brace the box well with that much airspace. Power higher only if you've experimented with this setup first and are trying to gain a db or two for comp reasons.

that fine and all but with 600w to each you will get sound but you won't be pushing them hard at all, if you want them to 'work' them. i dont know, stick summit in that will atleast give em 1200w each, so if you can get hold of another amp of similar size or model buy 2. or you could give them the full 2000w each which will be rather costly. i've checked these out on winisd and two can pump around 130 so they will go loud when fully rms'd. but remember its completely your choice  ------------- 6* Rockford T2's

if you want to run more power and not spend a ton of money for 3000 to 4000 RMS go to www.ikesound.com you could get a pair of MA audio amp that would power those sub ever well there is other amps that you can look into as well ------------- 1974 ford pinto 4 15" punch Z power punch bd 1001 pioneer DEH-6700

SPL yes, SQ HELL NO!! none what so ever. Feed them some power and they will pound though.

Well, it depends on your definition of SQ. I am running a L7 which most would say is horrible for SQ, but it sounds great to me. So it really just depends on what sounds good to you.

i dont know but over hear i can get them for £380 so from conversion they look like they are 700 dolas but im sure they are not much more than 450 dollas. hope you can get sum they are killer subs.

go to www.reaudio.com . cool ass website. in the contacts they have a phone number, just call and order. if there is a dealer in the area, they'll hook you up through there. can't get them on the internet though, so if you do find one, it's probably defective, don't buy it. only buy from their dealers. they cost about $450, and from what i hear, will kill a JL audio W7 ($999). impresive. i did a system with 3 10 etrenal subs, and they didn't sound bad. rand about 400 watts each. not real loud, but it did sound ok. as for power for your subs, 600 watts will be enough to start with, although i would have your local car audio shop build a ported box to put them in. going this way will be alot easier because you won't have any charging system problems, and the ported box will give you more output for your power. you might as well stick with the subs you have now, because you have them, and once you hear them you might like them alot.

the subs i have are fried lol i'm debating now on 3 Earthquake Subzero 12's, 3 Boston 12's, or 3 Eclipse 12's... mainly because i can get them for a good price... any a lot better than the others? or anything else i should take into consideration that wouldnt cost too much but would put out good bass?

Kill? As in how? SPL? SQ? Price? Coolness factor? Reputation? Xmax? Materials? Warrenty? Shelf life? Packaging? Bubble wrap?
