Ive run a 4 gauge ground cable from the amp directly to the battery, and grounded the hu on this cable as well. This sorted out the whine from the amp. My problem is, now there is a constant hum coming from the speakers. its just a constant sound that does not change when i rev. I also get a clicking sound every time i put brakes or indicators.

Any suggestions?

Move the signal input wires around and away from the power cable and any other power wires in the car.  It may take some trial and error.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
