I have a pioneer deh-p9200r and when i put power to it nothing happens

but it does get power the lights come on it makes noies but will not open or play raido

can anyone help me?

what kind of car is it, it might have a factory amp

uh, from what he is describing, a factory amp has nothing to do with it.
Make sure you have a good constant source, good accessory and a good ground. If all those check good, then you probably have a defective head unit.
