Does it work with any radio or do i have to have a Clarion HU too?

how does one set it, cause i dont see any buttons or screen on it?

It will work with any radio, yes. It utilizes rca inputs and outputs, so it is universal.

It probably uses dials in order to set the nine bands.

I believe that EQ is an add-on for certain Clarion head units and will not work with any others.
