ok i kno how to run all the wires and all that but how do i get to the back of the stock radio ..... i have a 99 silverodo ... how do i get the dash pannel off with out breaking any thing ???

The above link is very usefull... Otherwise, you take the truck off he dash!... Make sure you have the correct wiring adapter.. different radios use different adapters.

the easiest way to remove the radio in that car is to put the shifter in low, remove the two 7mm screws above the cluster, and then just pull the whole panel off. this is one of the easiest dashes to take off(other than fords). there should be 3 or 4 7mm skrews holding the radio in, or it will be two clips that you have to pull down on to free the radio. hope this helps. happy intalling!
