What do you guys suggest I do to get rid of the rattle in my rear view mirror. I just installed a Rockford T112D2 with a Rockford 601s amp and it really pounds, but this rattle will most likely get rather annoying.

Turn it down.
or put some ugly rubber bands where the mirror fits in the base.

2 easy solutions 1. Turn it down until it stops rattling
2. Just take it off completely <--- Thats what I did If you must you could take it apart and put a layer of deadener on the backside of the glass and inside the piece that contains the glass Just a thought --Skold ------------- 2004 Honda Civic Ex 4Dr

I never thought the day would come when I would have to Dynamat my rearview mirror. Hehe.
I don't think I'd be able to take it off and leave it off though. I never really use my side mirrors when driving, just my rearview mirror.
Thanks for the suggestions, guys.

why not remove the mirror, then place some sponge not very thick on the base and then reconnect it, this should absorb the vibrations ------------- 6* Rockford T2's

I don't mind not seeing through my mirror; I couldn't see through even with my 6x9s, but once I put this sub in, it makes an audible rattle which isn't always pleasant sounding.
