here's my situation:
2001 honda civic lx, stock stereo with auxiliary input to an ipod, 2 amps, 1 driving the sub and the other driving the 4 stock spkrs. i get speaker pops when i signal or brake or turn the car on and off or turn on the lights, etc. the speakers sometimes turn off momentarily before coming back on. i've got both amps grounded in the same location in the trunk with no more than 12 inches of wire. the speaker wires run seperately from the power wires to the trunk. i've tried 10 different spots for ground with no luck.

any suggestions?

not a lame answer... you'd be surprised at how noisy those OEM heads are...

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
