im working on a new 2006 slk benz and in the front doors their is a factory 8" sub with a factory 2.5" mid attached in one casing, their is very limited space and we would like to replace this with a high end speaker of the stature of focal or dyn etc. any helpful hints would be appreciated

The Vifa MG10MD09-04 would probably do you well. On the 'net, it's known as the MG10, a fiberglass cone, with outstanding transient capabilities... Available at Madisound, only $43.00 each is a steal. AWESOME little speaker unit.

has anyone worked on one of these cars and what was it you did. The factory sound sucks and my customer wants perfection. what was done for bass. where the 8" in the doors ditched, kept, what. all words of advice are great
