I have a Nissan Sentra SER with the rockford audio fanatic package.  I took the factory CD player out today and noticed that on the back it has a circular multi pin connector.  Is this possibly for a cd changer or some other type of option that i maybe dont have?  I am asking becuase I know that with some factory systems you can turn your cd changer plug into an auxilary input.  I need an auxilary input for my mp3 player, so it woudl be nice if i could do this

Anyways, has anyone ever seen this?  If there anyone who has any ideas on how to find out if it would be possible to do this?

Thanks!

seriously though....give in now or just settle on an aftermarket fm mod.

RF systems should be TOTALLY bypassed.

Was that even an answer?

I dunno.

Anywho, I betcha a quick call to your Nissan dealer would answer that question..

I'd imagine that if indeed it is a CD-changer input, turning it into an RCA-in type connection would be a fairly eazy matter...

Try Nissan..?

If Nissan indeed tells you it's a CD changer input jnye then Peripheral makes a product called AUX2CAR.

After you pickup the AUX2CAR you'll need a special adapting harness available for most vehicles. These harnesses are also available from Peripheral and should cost you about $20-$30CAN.
