i have a 200 watt pioneer deh-p7700mp and a pair of 5 1/2" 180 watt door speakers and a pair of 240 watt 6x9s all pioneer my ride is a 1996 dodge stratus. so when im driveing everything is fine untill i go to use my brakes the volume goes down and when i start to acc. the volume goes back up.my light don't dim nor anything else. anybody know what the prob might be cause i plan on putting about 3000 watts of power in the trunk!!! so please help???
OK, first of all forget about all those power numbers, they are peak numbers and mean nothing. Your head unit produces 27 watts per channel. This should not be a sufficient drain on your vehicle's electrical system to be affected by engine speed, unless your vehicle has a really old and bad battery and/or an old, bad or really small alternator. Does the output level change anytime you apply the brake pedal, even if you're parked? If so, you have a HU wiring issue, probably need a better ground, or you have cross-connected something under the dash. Did you use a proper wiring kit? What's the vehicle? If the output from that small an amplifier is really changing based on engine speed, you need to get that vehicle checked out as you have a major failure in your electrical system.

Support the12volt.comit only does it when im driveing its fine when im set in park but when i put it in drive is when i start haveing the prob /the battery is 3 years and the alt is factory i dont think it has ever been replace so do u think i should replace all that /o and yes i did use a kit to install the hu.
Sounds to me like you need to take your car to a shop and have them test your electrical system.

Support the12volt.comDo you notice anything else dimming such as you headlights when you apply your brakes? I am not 100% sure but it be a sign of your alternator failing.

no its just the volume of the hu //meh66//. well i was thinking the same but cause it is the only thing im having a prob with i think ill just replace the batt and alt and if that does not fix it then ill just fork out the bens and take it to the shop cause i have to have that prob fixed before i start shoveling watts into my trunk? right
You somehow turned on (AVL) automatic volume leveling. That is a feature on that fine HU you own that adjusts the volume to the speed of the vehicle to compensate for road noise. push the volume knob, go to audio, push the knob again, and scroll to the AVL feature. Highlight AVL and push the knob again to turn it off.
