need advice on alpine amp

I've been running my mids/highs off of my alpine head unit, but since I have everything thing out of the truck (installing raammat) I thought about putting an amp on them when I reinstall everything. Right now my system consists of 2 memphis 10's, memphis 500 watt pushing the tens. For mids and highs I have a set of memphis components in the front doors and jl audio components in the rear. Head unit is an alpine. I'm down to two amps and am hoping that someone on here can point me in the right direction.

Would it sound better to go with either
A: Alpine MRP-T220 running my components up front and continue running the rear speakers off of the head unit
or
B: Alpine MRP-F240 running all four speakers.

I'm just trying to clear a better sound out of the mids/highs and feel that an amp is necessary for this.
Plus it should help balance out my system.

Please help me out here.....

A 4 channel amp is the way to go....a no-brainer, considering you're in the market for an amp.

I have the CDA-9813. It has front, rear, and sub preouts.

I would use the f-240, it will still give you front to rear fade with the three pre outs. If the price is two steep that is a V power deck with a legit 22 RMS X 4. It will run the rears fairly decently, make sure you have the constant ( yellow ) lead wired battery direct and not to the factory lead.

i had the power wire hooked directly to the battery. but after i get the amp, i'm thinking i should be able to run it off of the factory lead. will think work since i'm not using the internal amp?

Shut off the internal power ICs and you should be fine.

I agree with Stevdart you should get the 4-channel.

what are "internal power ICs"?
is this the internal amp?
also, does my manual explain to do this and if not
how is it done?

Yes, they are the built in power outputs. Your manual should explain this, but in case, you get into your setup menu, scroll thru to where it says PWR IC and hit the Band button until it says "off". This will cut down on the power draw on the deck.
