Ok I can't seem to find it anywhere in the manual on how to activate a REAR High-Pass for the Pioneer AVIC-N2 - does anyone know how to or is it even possible? I managed to get the High-Pass on the Front though ...

Using the high pass filter

When you do not want low sounds from the subwoofer

output frequency range to play from the

front or rear speakers, turn the HPF (high pass

filter) on. Only frequencies higher than those in

the selected range are output from the front or

rear speakers.

1 Touch "HPF" in the AUDIO menu.

2 Touch "ON" to turn high pass filter on.

To turn high pass filter off, touch "OFF".

3 Touch

or to select cut-off frequency.

Each time you touch

or selects cut-off

frequencies in the following order:

50 — 80 — 125 (Hz)

When PREOUT (the subwoofer controller

setting in INITIAL menu) is SW, the HPF

function is effective for front speakers only.

SO to answer your question no the rear channel does not have a HP X-over

If your amp has a HP filter, simply use that.

Damn that sucks for an expensive head unit like that.

Are you sure that the HPF does not work for both front and rear when it is turned on?
