Does anyone out there know how to fine le for a sub. please help

Unfortunately most manufacturers don't spec it, and usually for a reason.  If you know the voice coil height, awg, layers, and diameter you could get a rough estimate.  But other than that I believe you would need some test equipment.

Most VOMs with inductance settings use a 1K tone, which is where many manufacturers spec Le of their drivers, anyway, so that's perfect. Steven is right, you do need eqipment, but an inexpensive volt-ohm-meter, with inductance function is all...
