I know I could keep looking and pouring over company websites and review pages, but I don't feel like I have any direction. I have an Image Dynamics IDMAX 12" sub with dual 2 ohm voice coils. I am looking for an amp to make this baby hum. I am equally as interested in SQ as I am in SPL, so It has to be of high quality and would prefer it to not be Class D. I'm planning on wiring the VCs in parallel, so I would need an amp that is going to provide a signal around 800 watts x 1 channel at 1 ohm. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Take a look at USA amps they are very stable and very powerfull. If your going for SQ I reccomend a sealed enclosure. I posted on another thread the differences between ported and sealed. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. JL audio amps are also a good choice for SQ their amps are the "cleanest" in the industry. meaning they do not introduce any noise into the system from their power supplies. They are also very powerfull.

I have looked at the and also at the DLS Ultimate A6, whcih seems to fit the bill a little better. If anyone has any other sugestions on wiring and amp set-ups, I'm all ears. Thanks
