Hi im a car audio newb and i was wondering if a MRP-M350 running at 350@2ohms was enough to power a SWR-1042D put into a 2ohm config.
Would under powering the sub that much kill the sub faster? I was looking into a MRD-M605 if it would kill the sub.

The sub is rated to 500 RMS. I've run them with the M350 and if your not looking big volume it's fine. If the price doesn't scare get the M605. And yes clipping an amp into any speaker is the speakers worst enemy.
