First of all i am not interested in anyone outside of my car hearing my music. Its ok if they do, i just dont care. So my question is this: I would like to add more bass to fill in the lows but i dont know where to start. I called crutchfield and their advisor told me to get a powered sub a basslink or something. That sounded pretty good since its fairly cheap ($200 on ebay). What do you guys think and why? Also, would adding a small amp help the sound of my four 6 1/2" speakers? My hu is a blaupunkt acapulco. Thanks everybody in advance

If you just looking to add a little bass then the Infinity Basslink will work fine. Or you could buy a small amp, 1 10" sub and a sealed enclosure for roughly around the same price. I have heard the basslink and they actually sound really nice. Not too overpowering and clean.

Good advice, i was wondering if anyone had actually heard a basslink. Any suggestions about adding an amp for my 6 1/2" speakers?

Adding an amp to the 6 1/2 can only help. They will get more responsive and the midbass will be alot cleaner.

I have blaupunkt components in the front and alpine's in the back. Any suggestions on a good amp for them?

There are quite a few nice amps out there that would be a good choice. I just listed a couple that I have used in the past that I know are good. Good luck with your endeavors!!!

I would look for an amp that has an RMS rating equivalent or higher to your components.
