It's kind of difficult to ascertain what's going on, your post kinda of runs on, but I'm here to help out not judge sentence structure. Stereo noise can be the result of many different things. Since you ran your RCA's on one side of the vehicle, and your power wire on the other side, I'm going to lean towards it being a ground issue. Did you ground both amps in the same place, to a clean, unpainted surface? Make sure you have a good, solid ground as that could be the potential problem.

When you say 'engine noise' do you mean alternator whine?

Try using sentences and periods jdoria they work really good.

oops

Try using sentences and periods, jdoria.  They work really good!

Try this:  ground the head unit to chassis using a separate ground wire.  You could even experiment with running a ground wire from the deck directly to the battery ground or neg terminal.  And heed the advice above about the amps' grounding point.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Better grounds will help more, and also make sure your signal cables and your power cables are not running alongside each other.

I think I found the [problem to the engine noise. I pulled out the deck thinking the stereo had a bad ground, I looked and I saw antana wire spiced in an looks like a wire from an extention cords all the way to the back. If I replace that with a new antana wire would that fix my engine noise?

check to see how close your power/rcas are running together, that can cause engine noise sometimes when your rcas and power are too close.
