Q about head unit install?

I am about to put an aftermarket head unit in my truck (04 silverado 2500). I know that I will need an wiring adapter as well as box to keep my chime and RAP. Where can I find these items the cheapest? I found a class2 box for around $100 is that about right?

Also when I intall the head unit (Clarion DXZ945MP) I would like to also install a Clarion1/2 DIN EQ. Does anyone make an install kit theat will accept a 1 Din head unit and a 1/2 DIN EQ? If so were can I get one. If not how do I go about building one myself?

Well as far as the parts you need and pricing, the class2 integration unit sells for about 150.00CAN at the box stores here, it is essentially the wiring harness, and then you'll need an antenna adapter as well, about 10.00CAN. As far as the kits go try this one.

Theres a couple more kits with EQ provisions, namely the 99-4545 and 99-4812. Not sure but check them out.

Thanks for the link. It dosent say the kit will fir an o4, but it may be worth a try.

Silverado's are the same from 03' to 06', that Metra part will work just fine,

They dont have 03 listed. Their listing only goes to 02. Is it still the same?
