I'm back for some more advice. I've been looking around for some door/rear speakers with an amp. On this forum I was pointed to the CDT CL-6X since the EF-61 speakers are "big" that it might not fit my doors. The CL-6X are 80wrms. Since I'm a fan of Kicker I checked out the Kicker DX60 50wrms for the rears. Both speakers are 4ohms. I looked on ikesound.com for a 4-channel amp, and I found the Kicker KX350.4. 60W x 4 @ 4 Ohms RMS. Would that amp be good for both of those speakers??? Or do I need something bigger???
Would you pick another amp and rear speakers, or would that combination be good??? I might change my mind about the kicker amp, but would the (60w x4 @ 4ohms be good enough, or something higher)???? I currently have (2) 12" Kicker CVR's with a JBL GTO1201.1 amp. 787wrms @ 4ohms. The headunit is a Pioneer DEH-P9600MP.So I want my highs & mids to sound nice and clean. Am I picking wrong stuff for that kind of sound???
Or if you were me, would you run the kicker dx60 off the hu, and buy a set of tweeters and use the other channel for those??? Or would those CDT's make the highs loud and clear???
thanks

Again, CDT over Kicker, anyday.
Try a JBL 4-channel to match your GTO1201.1, then mate it to CDT coaxials, especially for rear-fill.. I wouldn't both with EF stuff that's gonna sit behind your seat in doors..
This kind of confuses me..? I plan on putting the CDT CL-6X 80wrms speakers in my doors and running them off an amp. I was going to go with those 50wrms Kicker DX60 speakers for the rears, since I want more watts up front. But you said the CDT's are better than Kicker but I took it you said I shouldn't put a 2nd pair of CDT's for the rear. Then, which would be a good set of 6 1/2" speakers for the rear that you'd recommend? As you know, I'll be running the rears off the amp, too. Should I get a set of speakers that are close enough in watts as the front, or something really small? I'm not trying to make it complicated, I just want to make sure I get good speakers that will give me good sound over the CVR's.
I found a JBL GTO75.4 amp that puts out 104wrms x4 @ 4ohms for the fronts & rears.
Thanks.
Also the vehicle is a saturn sc1, only got 2 doors. the rear speakers in the back glass are 6 1/2, too.
Maybe that might help a little.
