Hi, I'm putting together an oldschool A/D/S system with a ph15 6 channel amp and the 642csi crossover, I am in desperate search of the A/D/S 8 pin din connector, preferably the 6 foot model. I've looked everywhere online and at all the stores around my home. I found ageneric one online and I ordered it but it didnt' work, I think the A/D/S model must have special specs to make it work with just their systems. I have ruled out any of my components being bad because I have the 8-pin rca adapter and everything worked fine with that when I pluged it into each component, but to connect the crossover to the amplifier I need a male to male 8 pin cable. If anyone can help with this problem please let me know.
Thanks a lot

a/d/s is now part of Directed.  Send them an email and see if they still have stock (which I doubt) or if they can send you the wiring diagram for the cable.  You may have to make one yourself.  audiotechs@directed.com

I had that exact setup with some a/d/s speakers as well. Great amp and x-over.

I have acess to the din cables at the shop, I can check Friday. It may be shorter than 6' but so long as you have both plugs, lengthening won't be a problem (I've done it many times)

Try Patrick at RobotUnderground. He has lots of old school
PPI, Orion, and a/d/s/ exotica.

Directed Audio has been a bit less than helpful with my questions.
