I've been looking at using the XXX's for my midbass/midrange front setup, but am now looking at the Adire's too. I understand they both use the XBL2 tech in their motors, but am not sure about how much alike or not alike they are. With the Adire's being 8ohms and only $100 I'm also thinking about using 2 per door for a 4ohm load. I want to run this setup active using either a DQX or a DQXS from Audio Control. I have a lot of amps in mind, but I need to know which way I'm going before I choose those. I haven't heard either one. I'm just going off of opinions from this and other forums. I mean Dyohn said he likes the Adire's so they have to be pretty good, right? Just in case you need to know this will go in a 2000 LandRover Discovery hopefully running 1 or 2 of the new XXX 15's. Thanks in advance

Man, I think you forgot to post this on EliteCarAudio too.posted_image

Just get a pair of Extremis' and a Phoenix Gold Xenon 200.2 That'll be 100 watts to each speaker which is more than enough.

Yes I know I posted this question 3 times, but I was bored at work so I figured I would get more info this way. With the Xenon I could just add another set of Adires and still get 100w to all four speakers. I've never had any PG stuff, but I've heard good stuff about them. Thanks for your reply. Anyone else have any experience with either of these mids?
