I own a 2000 Chrysler Cirrus Lxi.  As and addition I got a 6 CD changer as an extra.  Recently i began to change the stereo system and I want to upgrade my headunit.I wanted to know if there is any after market cassette receiver or headunit that is able to work with the 6 CD changer provided by Chrysler.  If there is an adapter, then can you please suggest it?  If you have any other suggestions to solve my problem, then please start suggesting.  Thank you.

NO, there is no way to do it. No companies make adaptors to do this. If you want to have a changer you will need to purchase an aftermarket one that works with your aftermarket head unit.
