BEST advice? DONT. Period.

Alternator, yes. Cap, wait till you know you need it. Chances are, if you do it right the first time, you will not need the cap. Again, PERIOD.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

When would you use a cap exactley????

How will you know that you high output altenator is enough?

That earthquake is a mono block 2000watts give or take.

Excuse me for all the question?? I just want to know.

a cap would be used if say your eletrical system can handle running your amp. just not when it peaks. and you need just a bit more power the cap will get you buy. for the most part caps are junk .  if you upgrade your alternator and the big three you should be just fine
