Nope, another swap meet brand.

Try the following, alpine, kicker, mtx, phoenix gold, r. fosgate. These are real amps and can be had at reasonable prices. There are plenty more but it's just a start.

Check crutchfield and sounddomain for some good brands as well.

Power Acoustik TS1920-2 Plasma Sphere 1920W Car Amp

I wouldn't do that one either. Search for Power Acoustik here on this site, then decide.

damn man. im looking for at least 800 watts for no more than 200 bucks.

i heard you can squeeze that out of a 4 or 600 watt amp?

I wouldn't go with Legacy or Power Acoustik either, those are crap.

What kind of sub(s) do you plan on running to the amp? Are they 4ohm or 2ohm? Single voice coil or dual voice coil? What's the RMS wattage of the sub(s)?

With that information I could probably point you to a decent amp for around $200.

they are 15" dvc 500 rms 4 ohm audiobahn.
i got 2 of them and they run a total of 1000 rms and i want to squeeze at least 800

You could get a HiFonics Tx1005D. 1000wrms x1 @ 1ohm
https://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/2858

You can only wire (2) 4ohm DVC subwoofers in a 1ohm or 4ohm load. If i'm wrong, someone please correct me. (Still a newbie)

If I am correct, I'd look for an amp on ebay that's 800-1000wrms x1 @ 1ohm or 4ohm. I'd save up some more money and get a better amp. I paid around $300 for my JBL GTO1201.1 amp and I got it running @ 4ohms to give me 787wrms.  It's a good amp imo. I'd check for brands like Kicker, Eclipse, Orion, JBL, Phoenix Gold, etc.

That's just my opinion. I'm sure someone else more experienced will come along and give you better information.

Hope I helped tho.

yes you all have helped out a lot. thank you.
so if an amp says like 600W RMS X 2 @ 4 ohm
i would ACUTALLY be able to load it down to like 1 ohm bridged (if it could handle it of course) and get more watts???

i still am not clear on the whole 4 ohm 2 ohm 1 ohm loading thingposted_image

o sorry to bug you guys again. but would it be better 2 get like a 1000w 1 ohm monoblock
or a 1000w bridged 1 ohm 2 chan?

In your case either will work, how ever a class d mono amp will fit the bill just fine. They are cheaper and more efficient to run.

and 1 ohm stable means i will be able to turn the 600 watt 4 ohm into something at 1 ohm and have more watts? than 600

IF the amp is stable to run at 1 ohm, then yes the amp will yield more power. When you run amps at lower resistances you will experience more distortion and the amp will heat up much faster.

so would it be better to find a amp that is comforably stable at 2 ohms?

I have a fetish for these amps, but they might work well for you...

Pioneer PRS-X720, rated at 1x400 rms 4 ohm mono, in reality puts out about 800 rms, it's a competition cheater amp. It's also 2 ohm mono stable, although nobody seems to have a power rating for it at 2 ohms. It's class AB with a regulated power supply (makes your car's voltage less important), and it is one of the best sounding amps available short of a TRU. Greater than 110 db S/N ratio!

I have two of them and I would never part with them, I got one on Ebay shipped for $200, and the other on Ebay shipped for $125. Just my two cents.

see THATS the thing i dont get. i could SO afford an amp at 400 at 4 omhs. but i dont get how you could REALITY squeez out 800.
thats the secret ive been asking.
(if i could buy an amp that SAYS 600 watt at 4 ohms. BUT i could run lower ohms and get more.)

Here is some sound advice. If the amp sounds to good to be true, don't buy it. Already you have subs that in my opinion are on the image side of things rather than performance. The list above has real amps mentioned. In order to hear a difference in wattge applied to speakers, one must double the power in order to gain a 3 dB increase which is in the threshold of audible difference. So a 400 watt to a 600 watt amp isn't really going to produce a whole lot of difference.

You may simply be in search of something that doesn't exist in your price range. At one point the watt to dollar ratio was like a dollar a watt. This has since changed but still remains higher than your current budget, it seems.

What? This makes no sense. Why would Pioneer advertise a 800 watt amp as a 400 watt amp? Where did you hear this?
