I was just wondering if anyone could give me some advise, i'm going to be getting a pair of 12" sony xplod subwoofers soon and i'm not sure what amp and how many watts i should get. The subs are rated 50-300 watts RMS, 900watts peak. I'm looking for more SQ than anything else. Would a 250 watts rms x 2 bridged amp be fine, or would I be better off w/ like a 300 or 350 x 2 amp? I'm sort of on a budget here, so i'm not planning on spending a fortune on this, i just want a decent system. I like to play it pretty loud though most of the time when i've got the windows rolled down and a lot of windnoise and such, so i don't want an underpowered amp. Also, i won't have any trouble at all w/ lights dimming and such w/ a 350 x 2 in bridged, will I? Thanks for all your help, later
Also, i'm not set on getting xplod's, but i don't want extremely expensive subs either. If you have any other suggestions on the subs, let me know. Thanks.
