The inputs to the 2005 mustang subwoofers in the doors say 1.2ohms and have four wires going to each speaker. Can I get a four channel amp and hook it up to both speakers or should I get a two channel amp and tie the wires together?

they will blow if you put more power into the crapy stock speakers. go aftermarket and then add power.
