I would LOVE to find a diagram or simple wiring explanation of the radio wiring harness for a 2001 Subaru Forester, so I can install a CD head unit in place of the factory am/fm tape deck, which is obviously boring. Any help here would be appreciated, seems the few diagrams I've found don't come close to matching. The factory job is a basic deck that is also a controller for adding a factory option CD changer. Thanx gang!

Metra's 70-8901 should do the trick.

Check the Subaru forums, places like Legacygt.com - they usually have lots of posts on these things.
