I have a us amps 200. I want to run my front components with it. If I wire each speaker to a channel, it looks like I'm only gonna get 25 watts per channel. Is there a better way to wire this and get more power. If I bridge the amp I will get 200 watts, but at two ohms. My speakers are 4 ohms. What are my options. I thought of running the positive to each speaker and the negative to each speaker (parallel wiring) and bridge the amp. But if I do this, will I loose the ability to adjust from left to right? Please excuse my lack of knowledge on the matter, but I'm hoping someone here can help me out...

Oh yeah, my components are supposed to handle 50 rms and 100 peak. By bridging the amp, will that be too much power causing damage to the speakers?

Thanks!

The best way to use a stereo amp if you want stereo sound is to connect one speaker to each channel.  No other option, really.

run the amp stereo. there is a few reasons for this. #1 SQ is much better at 4 ohms. #2the ablity to control right to left. #3 us amps are underrated.

damn...that sucks. So I guess I'm all gonna get out of this amp is 25 watts to each of my front speakers. Hell that's not much more than I'm getting out of my alpine head unit now.

thats not true your alpine H/U power ratings are peak power .most H/U's run no more than 15 watts RMS per channel. US amps are underrated they produce a bit more power than what they are rated at. i am sure that you will get just over 25watts RMS to your speakers .so you will get 40 to 50% more power to your componets. they will sound better.

That makes me feel a little better. Only switching to an amp b/c I wanted a little more sound (cleaner and richer) from my front speakers. Sounds like this will serve my purpose.

Thanks!
