Have you adjusted the amp since? Like the gain or bass boost?

Lots of questions. What is the impedance of the voice coils on your W3V2s? How are they wired? Where is the gain set on your amp? Is the bass eq on? If yes where is it set? Where is your X-over set? Is it on the amp or the deck? Does your Alpine have a bass engine sub level control? If so where is it set? I'm closing up shop now so I might not be able to answer until tomorrow.

If the subs are indeed V2s, you have a 1ohm sub config.  The amp only handles 1.5 ohm.   Some college-level math for you guys:

                                                                4+4+4+4 = 2+2 (ultimately)= 1ohm
