Theoretical question...

If powering 2 4ohm subs by a 1 channel 4ohm amp, the resulting impedance from the subs is 8ohm.

Will the amp still properly power the subs at rms?

check out the woofer wiring link to the left of the page. there is no such thing as a 4 ohm amp. amps are stable at certain ohm ratings, but the speakers themselves present the resistance.
