I'm new to using unibox and I wanted to see if I did it right. Heres what I got using a .90 ft3 box for the mk 1 brahma 12 and .98 ft3 for the cdt essq12.
I used the t/s info from the sheet in the cdt box, and the brahma dumax sheet. I guessed on the xmax for the cdt because it wasnt' there and the review for it said it didn't have the xmax of the hd12 which is 20mm. I did the math from diysubwoofers.org for the sealed box. The 500watts is for the jl 500/1 i'll be running. Anyone care to help out and check it?

Look at the header for both charts: says 17 L. That's .6 cubic feet. You have .6 cubic feet entered for both of these woofers. https://www.mhsoft.nl/conv1.htm is a converter you can save to favorites that can help out in situations like this...and Unibox has a Help tab that you can click on that shows the conversions.
What you have to do is go to the next box down on the left column (in Unibox) "Design by Vb and Q" and enter the liters you want for net volume (Vb). Then go to the middle of the page under the graph to "Damping" and "Leakage" and scroll to where you think your finished box is going to be. Those will change the Qa and Ql in the left column. As the charts above show, you have it set for heavy fill and minimal leaks. If you intend to lightly fill the box, the Qa will change to 80, and the Qtc and Fb will change slightly with the change in fill.
(Now you have to figure out how to post your charts at a smaller size so they'll fit the page!) As far as that goes..

...when you become a silver member you can upload a file attachment up to 500 Kb, meaning that you can't now.... That's what I do with those graphs. Until then, you'll have to work an image with a photo editor and hope you can get something that is readable under 30 Kb. Which, of course, you probably can't. So in a situation like what you tried here, LINKS to the subwoofers and an explanation of results will have to do.
Oh, and one more thing: when you have to guess at certain parameters, use the other parameters that are auto-figured in the middle column as a guide. Mms, Cms, Rms and Bl will change as you enter different numbers in the left column. If you have any of that info you will get a clue as to whether it's right.

Right on, like I said I'm new. I changed the size although at this size they are hard to read.
I thought I had to figure the box size myself after what it gave me so I used the qts/qtc that was at the top of each chart in the formula.
Also what is considered to be heavy or light fill? I was going with the 1lb per ft3 and figured that heavy. Thanks for the help.
