does anyone have experience with the Alpine MRP-M350 and the MRP-T220?  are they quality amplifiers that push as much power as they say?  are there any other suggestions for amplifiers to replace them?

That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.

hey man, yah i have had experience with the MRP-M350 i just put one in my buddys car and yah, alpine under rates their amps so it will ahve as much if not more power then it says it does. Alpine is a good quality name and it will run whatever you want it to. I just bought the MRD-M1005 (1064 watts rms @ 2 ohms.) Alpine has never caused me or anyone i know problems so it would be a good choice i think.

I own an M350 and must say for the money its an amazing little unit, dont let the power rating fool you it pounds like crazy with my cerwin vega.

Origanally i ran it thru a memphis pr15 dvc at 2 ohms and it just about vibrated my rear veiw mirror off the car, that sub lasted about a month and blew the voice coil, so i immediatly bought a cerwin vega and 4 days later it not only cooked the sub it locked it up as well.

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE GAIN SETTING, i really had to play with my gain but once i payed attention and backed the gain down about an 1/8th of a turn i actually had more bass in the car because it was hitting cleaner, and thats an 1/8th below nom which for some reason this thing set on nom seems to pop subs like kids pop candy, other than that its an awsome amp.  oh and if your wondering the memphis subs rms was 200 watts and the CV is 300 watts

J~
