i have an Alpine MRD-M1005  mono amp.

RMS Power (at 12V,20Hz-200Hz)

  • Per channel into 2 ohms : 700W x 1
  • Per channel into 4 ohms : 500W x 1

I want to run at 2 ohms - 2 12" subs to this amp. What subs would be the perfect mach for this amp.

Use the woofer wiring diagram....https://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp

Two 2-ohm dvc woofers

or Two 4-ohm svc woofers.

if this amp pushes 700X1, connecting the subs in parallel, would the both subs get 700 watts or would it be divided by 2. 350 for each sub.
