Okay to "Y" wires for parallel?

I am pretty sure this will be okay and it will read the same impedance (2ohms), but I just want to be sure.

Can I just "Y" the positive and negative wires and run them to both speakers for a parallel setup, or do I have have to have the wires go to one speaker first and then the other?
