mp3 player

i now notice that the sound of the mp3 player can be heard at the same volume no matter what soruce i have (cd or radio)

i dont understand the purpose of these rca ports if they only work 1/2 way

do i need to buy an adapter cable https://cgi.ebay.com/JVC-CAR-STEREO-AUX-INPUT-ADAPTER-FOR-MP3-DVD-ETC-NEW_W0QQitemZ5818000576QQcategoryZ60208QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem for use with the other serial port?

is the model a kdg-310? if so, that model doesnt have an aux in nor can you add on to that radio.

i looked at the back of the radio, and it does.  the port is circular but the inside connection is rectangular.  ive seen the radio being sold online and all sites say it doesnt.  the direction book i hold infront of me also confirms that it does.  maybe sometime they added it to that model, or false information was released, beats me
