I have 2 subs and they have dual 4 ohm voice coils. My question is i would like to hook each the woofer in parallel at the woofer connection so it will make a 2 ohm speaker then OUTSIDE of the box hook the wires up is series    1 sub to the other, that will give me a 4 ohm load....IS THAT CORRECT????????
The only reason i want to do it this way is becuse then i can just disconnect the series hook up outside of the box and have each sub at 2 ohms, at this point i have of the best worlds without taking the subs out if i ever decide to get another amp and hook each up with 2 ohm load....Will this connection be ok if i do it this way or is it better just to hook it up in series at the woofer and then parellael outside...i think i may have answerd my own question just now it(probably doesn't matter) if i do it this way or this way. But please let me know what is the best way to do it or it just doesn't matter.....??
