i plan on buying a pioneer ts-w3004spl. I wondered should i get the dual 4 or 2 ohm? After i buy the sub, i wouldnt have enuf money to get a new amp, so could i use my xplod amp (xm2200 gtx)? Its stable 2x200 @ 4ohm. If i get the dual 2 ohm, can't i wire it 4ohm, but the dual 4ohm cant be wired to 2ohm right? So would the 2ohm be a better buy? Also does anyone know if this sub is any good?

Pioneer Premier TS-w3004spl, Bass Slammer vented, Kenwood KDC MP-4028, and a KAC-9152d.
i did a search on google and got some good reviews some guy had two of these and he shatered his back window so ya it is really loud. and since you have a 4ohm stable amp you should get the dual 2ohm. and you are correct about the wireing of the subs. you should go and do a search on google about the sub to see the reviews for your self. one thing though you need to put the sub in the right box i hear it is kind of picky. good luck

A locla shop here in town sells Pioneer and they told me to stay away from the Pioneer subs. Said they sound like total crap. But I haven't heard them, so thats one shops opinion.
