I was looking at two different sony headunits that look pretty good on paper, but my roommate said that their headunits are kinda crap. I was just wondering if anyone has had any good or bad expierences with these:
Sony CDX-M9905X or Sony CDX-M8815X. Thanksl

they aren't crap...well...some of them are...but their motorized faces are known for having problems...specifically with the 8815...i haven't seen a lot of problems with the 9905...overall though they are a descent for the price...you pay more for looks than anything else and there is better out there for your money...but they are not crap...imo

failure rate for sony products is high. i have had 1 sony H/U i liked. i had a cheep one from wal-mart ,and it broke . sony sent me a 2year older model. and it was much higher end then the one i had. i liked that H/U. but not for over $300. i just got lucky with that one. not to lucky though. it got ripped off 3 months later.
