anyone know what size speakers are in the back of a 97 ram 1500 x-cab?

Should be a 13cm or in non-metric terms a 51/4".

Crutchfield has a really good database for what speakers fit what vehicles. You can steal the small guide from a catalog or always go online for it. It's pretty handy until you get enough experience to memorize all of them.
