well i just bought two ab3000d power ackostik amps. one for me and one for my friends truck.   but in my friends truck 2002 gmc sieera.  the amp would keep poping fusses.  and the fusses were 100 amp anl fusses. i know it might be no enogh for it but i use the same amp in my car and it worked fine.    anyways i switched amps with mine and it did the same thing. but then i hooked up my 1200db hifinocs amp and it worked fine wtih no proplem.  if anything i think the amps jsut suck cause it was going bad in my car also and the amps were only  a week old out of the box.  could you guys think any promplems that could happen.  i check for a short to ground any opens and nothing was found.

what is the ohm load with your friends subs on that amp. what i am thinking is that the hifonics amp can handle a lower ohm load then the new amps. and your making the new amp demand more power than the fuse can handle.
