ok here's the deal i just bought a 03 jeep grand cherokee with an infinity sound system and i want to change the head unit and i know i have to bypass the factory amp but i dont know how so if someone can give me a hand with that i would greatly appreciate it i need to know what parts are needed where to look and how to go about executing it.

Why are you bypassing the factory amp? While it's not a great piece of gear it's better than anything in a head unit. Unless you're adding another amp I'd leave it in the system.
