hmm.. when will people be able to start buying adire products? a Dealer in Chicago said "no one in the country had stuff, waiting on adire to change warehouses or what not."

Most subs will not sound good when you pop your trunk, they require reflection before they typically sound good.    And if you get something to bust your ear drums out you will need approx 160db or more, and then what good will your subs be when you cant hear them

well from what i know adire is very rare to get hold of cus ther r no dealers, now if u want the same sound q as adire but u want loudness, why not try RE( resonant engineering) as they are supposed to be the spl version of an adire and they are much more widely available. worth a try

Adire is not rare and there are more than 75 dealers and 3 authorized on-line dealers.  The problem is Adire has had manufacturing issues and supply chain problems so they have not had subwoofers for sale for about a year.  Their new line is slowly coming to market and will start showing up in dealer's hands soon.  If you must buy something now, JL makes a fine product (as do many other companies.)  If you want Adire, you'll have to be patient for a few more months.  I expect their new lineup to be widely available in 2006, which is when I plan my next upgrade.

And as Adire manufactures some of the higher end RE products IIRC, you won't be finding them easily either.
