i bought the jensen vm9510, but it did not come with any wires, does anyone know where i can buy just the wiring harness and the control cable seperately. thanks a lot

You can find the wires at a place like circuit city or a local audio shop. They shouldent cost that much.

I didn't know what this unit was so I decided to google it.  I'm assuming the control cable you refer to is the one that runs to the brain box.  If this is the case, this should be a red flag because many times that means this unit was stolen!  If you know better, you can try contacting Jensen for this, but you'll probably need proof of ownership.

A replacement harness can usually be ordered for cheap (much cheaper than other places) at any shop with a Metra book.  There's a section for aftermarket headunit harnesses.  Some brands use more than one harness, so you should know how many pins and what color to be sure you have the right one.

thanks choppers4life and geepherder, i ordered the parts they had available through jensen, they weren't able to tell me what the control cable was either. thanks again
