Hi, I have a couple of questions. I am installing Sirius receiver in a 94 Mazda B2300 pickup.
1. I wanted to run the power to just be switched on/off with the key. Can I just cut the end off the part that plugs into the cigaratte adapter, and groud and then connect the other to something switched on by the key (like the switched 12V for the radio)?
2. Has anyone installed satellite in this truck before and can give me tips on how to run the antenna to the roof?

1. unscrew the end of your cigaretter lighter plug and pop it open. Is there a circuit board inside? If so; it has a voltage convertor and you will need to keep the plug and solder directly to the circuit board or the contacts. If not; just cut the plug and solder up your wires. Just be sure you make note of positive and negative on the wires. Note where they are connected inside the plug, the tip contact is your +ve and the side contacts will be your -ve.
2. Generally the best way to run the antenna wire to the roof is through the 3rd brakelight opening on the top rear of the cab. Just be sure to use strip caulk or someting similar to ensure there are no leaks.
